Our studio's partner Yasuo is one of the key organizers behind CAMERA JAPAN, a vibrant multidisciplinary festival located in Rotterdam and Amsterdam in The Netherlands. In 2006, Yasuo took the initiative to launch this festival in collaboration with Dutch and German partners. Within a remarkably short span of three years, the festival blossomed into the most expansive and enlightening celebration of Japanese culture in the Benelux region.
The festival's allure emanates from its diverse offerings, which include an extensive film program, cutting-edge music and dance performances, thought-provoking contemporary art exhibits, engaging lectures, enriching workshops, and tantalizing culinary delights. A compelling blend of attractions attracted an attendance of over 10,000 enthusiastic visitors, solidifying the festival's position as a premier cultural event in the region.
